Teaching
The course on origami based foldable structures, teaches students on advanced structures and new exciting possibilities. These foldable designs requires dedicated methodologies and tools to achieve products with deseired properties, with integrated sensing and actuation. In accordance with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) the course combines the art of origami folding that helps students develope design aspects and innovative approach. Combining origami structures with smart actuation and rapid manufacturing processes, in a hands-on project, which the students propose, results in unexpected results.
The course is given at Ort Braude Academic College of Engineering - the department of mechanical engineering
